I study how personal experience shapes professional judgement in financial markets, with a focus on climate risk. My thesis is submitted and my viva is pending, supervised by Professor Chandra Thapa and Dr Biwesh Neupane, with completion expected December 2026.

Before the PhD, I spent over a decade in accounting and finance practice — an articleship in external audit, departmental finance leadership roles, and professional-qualification coaching in CIA, CMA, and IFRS. Since 2023 I have tutored finance and accounting modules at Strathclyde, recognised in January 2026 with Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA).
